Hassan Shibly is regarded as one of the world's leading civil rights lawyers. Over the course of more than 10 years in the non-profit sector, he has gained a reputation as a globally known expert in the field. CAIR-FL has grown into one of the major American Muslim civil rights groups because to his expertise and guidance. When someone's civil rights were violated, he spoke up for them. Because of his outspokenness, he's been cited in news sources throughout the world.
Hassan Shibly was born in Syria's capital city, Damascus, and grew up there. He arrived in the United States at the age of four. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Magna Cum Laureate. He subsequently attended the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he graduated near the top of his class on many scholarship awards.
In the Eastern District of New York, Hassan Shibly worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Eugene H. Nickerson after completing law school. While in New York City, he worked his way up to the position of Chief Executive Director (CEO) of CAIR-Florida, the state's biggest Muslim civil rights group. From there, he moved to Tampa, Florida.
